Inspect control valve assembly (2).

Remove (page 2-650).
b.
Inspect and repair, or replace as needed (page 2-713).
c.
Install and adjust (page 2-650).
16. DOES NOT SHIFT
Step 1.
Check oil level, and fill as needed (LO 9-2320-269-12).
Step 2.
Check for oil leaking (page 2-22).
Step 3.
Check for shifts at improper speeds (page 2-23).

Inspect brakeshoes (3) and drums (4).
a.
Remove hub and drum assembly (5) (TM 9-2320-269-20-1).
b.
Inspect brakeshoes, and repair as needed using applicable mainte-
nance procedure.
c.
Inspect brakedrum (4), and repair as needed using applicable
maintenance procedure.
d.
Install hub and drum assembly (5) (TM 9-2320-269-20-1).
