a. Alternator Removal

WARNING

Remove rings, bracelets, watches,

necklaces, and any other jewelry

before working around HET Tractor.

Jewelry can catch on equipment and

cause

injury

short

across

electrical circuit and cause severe

burns or electric shock.

NOTE

Tag and mark wires before removal.

(1) Remove nut (1), lockwasher (2), wire no. 18 (3),

wire no. 1430 (4), and wire no. 18 (5) from

terminal (6). Discard lockwasher.

(2) Remove nut (7), wire no. 1020A (8), and wire

no. 1933 (9) from terminal (10). Discard nut.

Change 2 7-5
