Camshaft (2)
Using dial indicator, measure and record
end play.
If end play is more than 0.0035 to
0.0115 inch (0.089 to 0.292 mm) the
camshaft thrust plate must
be replaced.
2. Camshaft timing
Two screws (4)
Using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet handle
gear (3)
with 1/2-inch drive, unscrew and take out.
