3. Camshaft (2)
Camshaft nut (5)
a. Wedge clean dry rag between camshaft
and spacer (6)
timing gear (3) and crankshaft timing
gear (7).
b. Using 1 7/16-inch socket and impact
wrench with 3/4-inch drive, unscrew
and take off.
4. Camshaft (2)
Camshaft timing
Using gear puller, pull off.

5. Cylinder block (1)
Camshaft (2)
Using camshaft remover/installer tool, take
out.
DISASSEMBLY
6. Cover plate (7)
Three screws (8) and
a. Using 9116-inch socket and handle with
lockwashers (9)
/2-inch drive, unscrew and take out.
b. Get rid of lockwashers (9).
