Tools and Special Tools
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)
a. Removal
(1) Remove 13 screws (1) and dash access
panel (2) from dash (3).
(2) Remove nine screws (4) and dash cover
panel (5) from dash (3).
(3) Remove 10 screws (6) and heater front
plate (7) from heater assembly (8).
NOTE
Location of plastic cable ties should
be marked before removal.
(4) Remove two cable ties (9) from heater
tube (10) and tube (11).
(5) Remove seven screws (12) from
instrument panel (13).
(6) Tilt top of instrument panel (13) toward
steering wheel (14).
