WARNING
Do not smoke, use open flame, or allow sparks near batteries. The mixture of oxygen
and hydrogen gases released from batteries is highly flammable and can explode
causing serious injury or death.
a. Lift up.
Two latches (2)
1. Battery box (1)
b. Pull hook (3) out of socket (4).
Lift off.
Lid (5)

Wing nut (8) and
a. Unscrew and take off.
3. Ground cable (6)
b. Get rid of lockwasher (9).

It might be necessary to use pliers
to loosen.
Lift off and set aside.
