Tag wires according to General Maintenance Instructions (page 2-46).
For this task, right and left is based on your view of the inside of the box.
1.
Relay box (1)
Door (2)
Open.
2.
Bottom solenoid (3)
Nut (5), lockwasher
a. Using 1/2-inch box-end wrench,
and left
(6), and red
unscrew and take off.

battery wire (7)
b. Get rid of lockwasher (6).
3.
Red battery wire
Two screws (9)
Using 3/16-inch flat-tip screwdriver,
and clamp (8)
unscrew but do not take out.
4.
Relay Box (1)
Red battery
Pull out.
