Front crankcase
Two screws (2) and

Using 9116-inch socket, 3-inch exten-
cover (1)
lockwashers (3)
sion, and ratchet handle with 112-
inch drive, unscrew and take out.

Get rid of lockwashers (3).
2.
Two screws (4) and

Using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet
lockwashers (5)
handle with 1/2-inch drive, unscrew
and take out.

Get rid of lockwashers (5).
3.
Two screws (6)

Using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet
lockwashers (7)
handle with 1/2-inch drive, unscrew
and bracket (8)
and take out.
b.
Get rid of lockwashers (7).
4.
Screw (9) and
a.
Using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet
lockwasher(10)
handle with 1/2-inch drive,
unscrew and take out.
b.
Get rid of lockwasher (10).
5.
Two screws (11) and

While assistant holds cover (1),
lockwashers (12)
using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet
handle with 112-inch drive, unscrew
and take off.

Get rid of lockwasher(12).
6.
Cylinder block (13)
Front crankcase

With help from assistant, take off.

loose with plastic-face hammer.

Get rid of gasket (14).
DISASSEMBLY
7.
Front crankcase
Three screws (15),
a.
Using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet
cover (1)
lockwashers (16),
handle with 1/2-inch drive, unscrew
air compressor
and take out.
base (17) and
b.
Using 1/8-inch flat-tip screwdriver,
packing (18)
take out packing (18).
c.
Get rid of lockwashers (16) and
packing (18).
