2-150. MAINTENANCE OF DRIVE HUB SPROCKETS AND RELATED PARTS (CONT).
REMOVAL (CONT)
5 Remove 19 hexagon head capscrews (6) and 19 Iockwashers (7).
6 Remove two sprocket wheels (4) from sprocket wheel hub (5).

Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing
parts.

Clean sprocket wheel (1) teeth and attach-
ing hexagon head capscrew heads with
wire brush and dry cleaning solvent.
Place sprocket wear gage against hexa-

gon head capscrew heads (2).
Inspect sprocket wheel (1) tooth wear
4
against sprocket wear gage profile.
Remove and rotate sprocket wheels (1) if
5
tooth wear is down to, or beyond, sprocket
wear gage profile.
If sprocket wheel (1) teeth are worn on
6
both sides or cracked, replace sprocket
wheels (1).

Remove nicks, burrs, and corrosion with
emery cloth.
