Coat threads of new arm bearing seal idler

wheel sleeve (11) with sealing compound.
Using spanner wrench, install new arm

bearing seal idler wheel sleeve (11).
Cut arm bearing seal idler wheel sleeve
11
(11) lip.

Using hammer and small chisel, force arm
bearing seal idler wheel sleeve (11) into
groove in pivot arm assembly (5).

Coat outer diameter of new plain encased
seals (12, 13, and 14) and all metal-to-
metal mating surfaces with sealing
compound.

Install new plain encased seal (12) on
pivot arm assembly (5).
Install retaining ring (15) on pivot arm

assembly (5).
Insert and position new plain encased seal
16
(13) into idler arm housing. Ensure that
rubber lip is facing in.
Seat new plain encased seal (13) firmly,

using seal inserter (item 13, appx G) and
handle.
Pack new roller bearing (16) with grease.

Insert and position new roller bearing (16)

in idler arm housing, using seal inserter
(item 12, appx G) and handle.
Install new inner bearing ring (17) in idler

arm housing, using seal inserter (item 13,
Insert and position new plain encased seal
21
(14) into idler arm housing with rubber lip
facing out.
Seat new plain encased seal (14) firmly,

using race and outer bearing replacer and
remover and replacer handle.
