ADJUSTMENT (CONT)

NOTE

Rotating brake adjusting nuts clockwise moves spring pins from READJUST mark

toward APPLY mark.

16 Rotate brake adjusting nuts (9) evenly using screwdriver until both spring pins (4) are aligned

with APPLY mark.

17 Apply sealing compound (item 38, appx C) to two new gaskets (8).

18 Install 2 new gaskets (8), 2 brake adjustment covers (7), 4 new Iockwashers (6), and 12

hexagon head capscrews (5).

19 Remove wood blocks and road test vehicle to ensure that brakes are working properly.
