Connect two electrical ground leads (136)
to storage battery terminals (137). Install
battery protection liner (138). Close
battery access cover (139).
Fill cooling system with water. Refer to

TM 9-2350-238-10.
Fill fuel cell as necessary. Refer to TM 9-

Check engine shutdown cable adjustment.

Refer to page 2-499.
Check shift linkage adjustment. Refer to page 2-775.

Check brake adjustment. Refer to page 2-816.

Check throttle linkage adjustment. Refer to page 2-499.

Check that electrical connections are secure and tight.

Purge and prime fuel system. Refer to TM 9-2350-238-10.

Check for leaks.

Repair all leaks that are found.

Run engine until operating temperature is

reached. Refer to TM 9-2350-238-10.
Check for proper operation.
Install floor support beam (140) on hull,

and secure with two new Iockwashers
(141) and two hexagon head capscrews
(142).
Install hull engine compartment deck

assembly lid (143) on hull and secure with
four plain cap nuts (144). Torque plain
cap nuts to 50 ft-lb (67.5 N-m). Install hull
transmission compartment deck assembly
(145) on hull and secure with four plain
cap nuts (146). Torque plain cap nuts to
50 ft-lb (67.5 N-m).
