Contacts, Electrical (2) (Item 17, Appendix G)
Tools and Special Tools
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)
Tool Kit, Electrical Repair (Item 53,
a. Removal
(1) Lift locking tab (1) and remove electrical
connector (2) from electrical connector (3).
(2) Turn
CTI
signal
generator
(4)
counterclockwise
and
remove
from
transfer case (5).
(3) Remove drive key (6) from CTI signal
generator (4).
NOTE
Do step (4) only when replacing CTI
signal generator.
(4) Remove two wires (7) from electrical
connector (2) with contact socket removal
tool.
