20-4. TACHOMETER CABLE/ANGLE DRIVE REPLACEMENT

Equipment Conditions
Tools and Special Tools
Engine shut off (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)
Parking brake on (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Wheels chocked.
Engine hood opened (TM 9-2320-360-10).
a. Removal
(1) Remove seven screws (1) from instrument
panel (2).
(2) Tilt top of panel (2) toward steering wheel
(3) to allow access to rear of panel.
(3) Remove four screws (4) and panel (5)
from dash (6).
(4) Turn collar (7) counterclockwise and
remove tachometer cable (8) from
tachograph (9).
NOTE
Mark position of angle drive before
removing.
(5) Remove angle drive (10) from tac hograph
(9).
(6) Route tachometer cable (8) through hole
in bottom of dash (6) and remove from
HET Tractor.
