Engine shut off (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Adhesive-Sealant, Silicone (Item 3, Appendix C)
Parking brake on (TM 9-2320-360-10).
Locknuts (8) (Item 65, Appendix G)
Wheels chocked.
Locknuts (3) (Item 58, Appendix G)
Tools and Special Tools
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (item 54, Appendix F)
Vise, Machinist's (Item 57, Appendix F)
a. Removal
(1) Remove boot (1) from winch (2).
(2) Remove rubber strap (3) from handcrank
(4).
(3) Remove T-handle (5) and tire davit (6) from
mounting bracket (7).
(4) Remove four screws (8), locknuts (9), and
tire lift bracket (10) from cab (11) with aid of
assistant. Discard locknuts.
(5) Remove four screws (12), locknuts (13), and
tire lift pulley (14) from cab (11) with aid of
assistant. Discard locknuts.
