7-15. TACHOGRAPH CHART REPLACEMENT (CONT)
b. Installation
CAUTION
Tachograph will be damaged if
tachograph charts are not installed.
(1) Set clock to ZULU time. Turn dial (1)
clockwise to set time forward. Turn dial
(1) counterclockwise to set time backward.
(2) Enter odometer reading on top tachograph
chart (2) on line labeled START.
(3) Install sleeve (3) through backside of new
tachograph charts (2).
(4) Install tachograph charts (2) on shaft (4)
under separating blade (5) and clip (6)
with labeled sides facing up.
(5) Rotate tachograph charts (2) to align
current time shown on chart scale (7) with
red point (8) on tachograph (9).
NOTE
Retaining collar is installed by
pushing down and turning clockwise.
(6) Install retaining collar (10) on shaft (4).
(7) Close tachograph (9) and turn key (11)
clockwise to lock tachograph (9).
(8) Remove key (11) from tachograph (9).
