CAUTION
To prevent possible damage to equipment, make sure circuit whose wire you are
repairing has no electricity going to it. If necessary, disconnect battery ground cable.
Slide up wire (2) until clear of ferrule
Shell (1)
1. Connector assembly
(3) and C-washer (4).
Take off.

Slide off over ferrule (3).

NOTE
If replacing only shell, skip step 4.
a. Using cutting pliers, cut off as close
Ferrule (3)
4. Wire (2)
to ferrule as possible.
b. Get rid of.
