MALFUNCTION

CORRECTIVE ACTION

At auxiliary throttle air solenoid valve (3). Disconnect ground wire from

Step 14.

ground bolt (5). Using multimeter set at 30 vdc, put red probe on end of

ground wire and black probe to good ground.

If meter reads no voltage, put key in OFF position and replace air

solenoid valve (page 4-760).

Step 15.

Close instrument panel (page 4-244). Start engine and engage winch station

(TM 9-2320-270-10). Go to winch station throttle control valve (6). Check to

see if throttle control valve will change engine rpm when handle is moved.

If winch station throttle control valve controls engine rpm, make sure air

pressure has built up to operating level, then shut down engine

(TM 9-2320-270-10) and go to step 22.
