Hose assembly (14) Using two 7/8-inch wrenches,

unscrew and

take out.

NOTE

Steps 12 thru 15 are disconnect procedures for rear-rear axle torque rod. Do the same steps for forward-rear

axle torque rod.

Cotter pin (16) a.

Using angle-nose slip-joint pliers,

straighten and pull out.

Get rid of.

Torque rod (17)

Nut (15) Using 1 11/16-inch open-end wrench,

and axle housing

1 11/16-inch socket, and ratchet handle

bracket (18)

with 314-inch drive, unscrew and take out.

Using ball-peen hammer and 3/4-inch

stud (19)

brass driftpin, drive out.

Using 24-inch pry bar, push up
