Transmission
New gasket (2) and
a. Place into position.
housing (1)
oil pan (3)
b. Screw in two 5/16-18 x 3-inch guide
screws into top corner holes of trans-
mission housing flange, for gasket
and oil pan alignment.
136.
Oil pan (3)
17 screws (4)
a. Screw in until snug using 1/2-inch
socket, ratchet handle with 1/2-inch
drive, and 6-inch extension.
b. Take out guide screws and replace with
two screws (4).
c. Using 1/2-inch socket and torque
wrench with 1/2-inch drive, tighten to
10 - 13 ft-lb (13.6 - 17.6 N m) of
torque.
d. After gasket sets, tighten screws (4)
to 15 - 18 ft-lb (20.3 - 24.4 N m)
of torque.

Two spacers (5)
Put into position.
and bracket (6)

Two screws (7)
a. Screw in until snug using 1/2-inch
and lockwashers (8)
socket and ratchet handle with 1/2-
inch drive.
b. Using 112-inch socket and torque
wrench with 1/2-inch drive, tighten
15 - 18 ft-lb (20.3 - 24.4 N m) of
torque.
