Put in position.

Using 2 oz. ball-peen hammer,
tap into place.

Lubricate lip of packing with oil.

Drive end frame (3)
Bearing retainer (1)
Put in position.

Bearing retainer (1)
Three screws (4)
Using 5/16-inch socket and speeder handle
with 1/4-inch drive, alternately screw in
and tighten.
35.
Rotor (5)
Drive end frame (3)
Put in position.
36.
Rotor shaft (6)
Collar (7), fan
Put in position.
(8), pulley (9),
and washer (10)
37.
Nut (11)
a
Put shaft (6) in soft-jawed vise.
Do not clamp on sliprings.
b.
Screw on until snug.
c.
Using 15/16-inch offset box-end
wrench, screw on and tighten.
