Fuel injection
a.
Loosen holding fixture and turn pump (1)
pump (1)
on side.
b.
Tighten holding fixture.
145. Fuel injection
Eight lifter
a.
Using drive flange holding wrench to
pump (1)
sleeves (2)
turn camshaft (3), raise one
sleeve (2).
b.
Take out tappet holder.
c.
Repeat for remaining sleeves (2).
146.
Eight covers (4)
a.
Apply thin coat of sealing compound.
b.
Using 11/16-inch socket and plastic-
face hammer, tap below lower edge of
chamfer in pump (1).
147.
Fuel injection
a.
Loosen holding fixture, and turn pump
pump (1)
(1) upright.
b.
Tighten holding fixture.
148. Fuel injection
New gasket (5) and
Put on, and hold in place.
