EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Temperature compensating rod and related parts on work bench

Procedure
Step
Screw left hand thread end of adjuster (1) four turns counterclockwise into rod (2).
1.
Line up holes in mounting bracket (3) with hole in rod (2).
2.
Install pin (4) into bracket (3) and rod (2).
3.
Using hammer, install tapered pin (5).
4.
Using wrench, install, do not tighten, washer (6) and screw (7).
5.
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Install temperature compensating rod and related parts
Do performance test (Vol I, para 2-2).
