3-10. Load Break Switch
a. Check all nuts, bolts, cotter pins and terminal
connection for tightness.
b. See that all bearing surfaces of the mechanism
have been lubricated. If lubrication is needed do as
follows:
(1) Sleeve Bearings (Operating Rod Ends,
Auxiliary Blade Hinge, Release Hook, etc.)-A light
application of SAE 20-30 oil.
(2) Roller and Needle

application of SAE 20-30 oil.
(3) Worm
and Wheel Miter Gears-Apply
D50H15 grease.
c. To check operation of switch it must be operated
slowly, with the power springs blocked.
Use the
following procedure to block the power springs.
(1) Remove the rear bolt from lower position I(,
right angle frame.
