There must be a distance of 0.50 in.

(1.27 cm) between bottom of spring

retainer and top of fan tensioner

coupling plate (1).

Loosen hexagon plain nut (2), then tighten

self-locking nut (3) to bring bottom of

spring retainer (4) to top line on instruction

plate (5).

2 Tighten hexagon plain nut (2).
