REMOVAL (CONT)

Remove hexagon plain nut (6), Iockwasher
(7), hexagon head capscrew (8), and loop
clamp (9) from tube support angle bracket
(10).

Disconnect pipe straight adapter (11) and
pipe to tube elbow (12) from rate of flow
control (3).
Remove pipe straight adapter (11) and

pipe to tube elbow (12) from metal tube
assembly (13).
Remove hexagon plain nut (14), lock-

washer (15), hexagon head capscrew
(16), hexagon head capscrew (17),
Iockwasher (18), loop clamp (19), and
tube support angle bracket (20) from rate
of flow control (3).

Disconnect metal tube assembly (21) from
pipe to tube elbow (22).
Remove pipe to tube elbow (22) from rate

of flow control (3).

Remove three hexagon head capscrews
(23), three Iockwashers (24), and rate of
flow control (3) from detector mounting
and engine lifting plate (25).
NOTE
Retain screws removed from detector
mounting and engine lifting plate.
10
Remove detector mounting and engine
lifting plate (25) and existing screws from
engine.
1 Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts.
2 Repair is by replacement of authorized parts (TM 9-2350-238-24P-1).
