SECTION 1. INTRODUCTION

Scope.

This RPSTL lists and authorizes spares and repair parts; special tools; special test, measurement, and

diagnostic equipment (TMDE); and other special support equipment required for performance of direct

s u p p o r t and general support maintenance of the M728 CEV turret. I t authorizes the requisitioning,

issue, and disposition of spares, repair parts and special tools as indicated by the Source,

Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) codes.

General.

I n addition to Section 1, Introduction, this Repair Parts and Special Tools List is divided into the

f o l l o w i n g sections:

Section Il. Repair Parts List. A list of spares and repair parts authorized by this RPSTL for

u s e in the performance of maintenance. T h e list also includes parts which must be removed for

r e p l a c e m e n t of the authorized parts.

P a r t s lists are composed of functional groups in ascending

a l p h a n u m e r i c sequence, with the parts in each group listed in ascending figure and item number

sequence. Bulk materials are listed in item name sequence in FIG. BULK at the end of the section.

Repair parts kits are listed separately in their own functional group within Section Il. Repair parts for

r e p a r a b l e special tools are also listed in this section. Items listed are shown on the associated

illustration(s)/figure(s).

S e c t i o n Ill. Special Tools List. A list of special tools, special TMDE, and other special

s u p p o r t equipment authorized by this

RPSTL (as indicated by Basis of Issue (BOI) information in

DESCRIPTION AND USABLE ON CODE column) for the performance of maintenance.
