engine oil temperature transmitter (engine cold).

Set MASTER BATTERY switch OFF.

Connect gage instrument panel harness connector

(CKT 27) to ENGINE TEMP indicator gage.

(CKT 33)

to OHMS X100 scale and "zero"

Set

Test No. 92 (page 4-92).

meter, or use

Disconnect gage instrument panel harness connector

(CKT 33) from ENGINE TEMP indicator gage.

Connect red probe of meter to gage instrument

panel harness connector (CKT 33) and black probe

to ground.

Check if meter indicates less than 20(M) OHMS or

more than 2000 OHMS.

Does meter indicate less than or more than 2000

OHMS

Check engine oil temperature

transmitter for proper

resistance.
