(7) Remove two locknuts (8), screws (9), and
brackets (10) from muffler bracket (11).
Discard locknuts.
(8) Remove lanyard (12), n t (13), and two
u
screws (14) from clamps (15).
(9) Remove clamps (15) from brackets (10).
(10) Remove water jacket (3) from brackets
(10).
b. Installation
(1) Install water jacket (1) on brackets (2).
(2) Install clamps (3) on brackets (2).
(3) Install two screws (4) on clamps (3). Do
not tighten screws.
(4) Install brackets (2) on muffler bracket (5)
with two screws (6) and new locknuts (7).
(5) Tighten screws (4) on clamps (3) to 75 lb-
ft (102 Nm).
(6) Install lanyard (8) on screw (4) with nut (9)
