Do not attempt to Inflate air spring when It is removed from vehicle. Failure to comply may result

NOTE
All six air springs are replaced the same way. Axle no. 4 right side is shown.
a. Removal
WARNING
Air suspension system may still
be pressurized even though air
pressure gage reads 0 psi.
Remove air line slowly to allow
air to escape. Failure to comply
may result in air line blowing off
causing
serious
injury
to
personnel.
Air suspension will drop when air
line is removed. Stay clear of
suspension. Failure to comply
may result in serious injury to
personnel
(1) Remove airline (1) from fitting (2) on air
spring (3).
NOTE
It air line has been plugged by
operator, go to step (5).
(2) Remove air line (1) from elbow (4).
(3) Remove elbow (4) from fitting (5).
(4) Install plug (6) in fitting (5).
