b. Installation

WARNING

Pipe thread sealing compound can

burn easily, can give off harmful

vapors, and Is harmful to skin and

clothing. To avoid Injury or death,

keep away from open fire and use In

well-ventilated area. If pipe thread

sealing compound gets on skin or

clothing, wash Immediately with soap

and water.

CAUTION

Use pipe thread sealing compound

sparingly only on pipe threads. Do

not apply compound at hose

connections. Failure to comply may

result in component damage.

(1) Coat threads of seven fittings (1, 2, 3, 4, 5,

6, and 7), two reducers (8 and 9), two

elbows (10 and 11), and tee (12) with pipe

thread sealing compound.

(2) Install six fittings (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) on

manifold (13).

(3) Install two reducers (8 and 9) and elbow

(10) on manifold (13).

(4) Install elbow (11) on reducer (8).

(5) Install tee (12) on reducer (9).

(6) Install fitting (7) on elbow (10).

(7) Install manifold (13) on PTO shaft support

(14) with two screws (15), washers (16),

and new locknuts (17).
