(3) Remove nut (14), lockwasher (15),

positive (+) cable no. 1139 (16), positive

(+) cable no. 1274 (17), and positive (+)

cable no. 1139 (18) from positive (+)

terminal (19) of starter (13).

Discard

lockwasher.

NOTE

STEERING COLUMN

Sound shield flap below cab must be

REMOVED FOR CLARITY

pulled away to gain access to

components.

(4) Remove locknut (20), screw (21), and

cushion clip (22), positive (+) cable no.

1139 (18), positive (+) cable no. 1274

(17), and negative (-) cable no. 1138 (11)

from transmission filter mounting bracket

(23). Discard locknut.

NOTE

Location of plastic cable ties should

be marked before removal.

(5) Remove plastic cable ties (24) from cables

(11, 17, and 18) as required.
