7-57. BATTERY CABLE AND TERMINAL/BATTERY/BATTERY BOX REPAIR (CONT)

f. Battery Box Assembly

(1) Install two support hooks (1) on battery

box (2) with four screws (3) and new

locknuts (4).

NOTE

Do not overtighten locknuts. Latch

should move freely when properly

assembled.

(2) Install two brackets (5) on battery box

cover (6) with two screws (7) and new

locknuts (8).

(3) Install two latches (9) on brackets (5) with

two screws (10) and new locknuts (11).

g. Battery Box/Bracket Installation

(1) Install two sleeves (1) and rollers (2) on

mounting bracket (3) with screws (4) and

new locknuts (5).

(2) Install two sleeves (6) and rollers (7) on

tray (8) with screws (9) and new locknuts

(10).
