Compound, Sealing, Pipe Thread (Item 15,

Parking brake on (TM 9-2320-360-10).

Wheels chocked:

Grease, Anticorrosion (Item 16, Appendix C)

Transfer case drained (LO 9-2320-360-12).

Lockwasher (Item 99, Appendix G)

Tools and Special Tools

Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)

a. Removal

(1) Lift and slide boot (1) from temperature

sensor (2).

(2) Remove nut (3), Iockwasher (4), wire no.

10 (5), and nylon washer (5.1) from

temperature sensor (2).

Discard

lockwasher.

(3) Remove temperature sensor (2) from

transfer case (6).
