6-3. RADIATOR AND SHROUD REPLACEMENT (CONT)
(30) Remove two nuts (46), lockwashers (47),
and washers (48) from tie rods (31).
Discard lockwashers.
(31) Remove two tie rods (31) from brackets
(49).
(32) Remove two nuts (50) and washers (51)
from tie rods (31).
(33) Remove 10 screws (52), clamp (53),
bracket (54), overflow hose (26), and 2
baffle mounting plates (55 and 56) from
fan shroud (45).
(34) Remove eight screws (57) and fan shroud
(45) from radiator (3).
(35) Remove two rubber mounts (58) from
radiator brackets (49).
b. Installation
NOTE
Apply soap to mounting biscuits to
aid in installation.
(1) Install two mounting biscuits (1) and
spacers (2) on crossmember (3).
