Lockwashers (9) Item 107, Appendix G)
Wheels chocked.
Lockwashers (2) Item 101, Appendix G)
Tools and Special Tools
Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 54, Appendix F)
a. Removal
WARNING
cool before performing maintenance.
Failure to comply may result in injury
to personnel.
(1) Remove three screws (1), lockwashers (2), and
washers (3) from heat shield assembly (4).
Discard lockwashers.
(2) Remove two screws (5), lockwashers (6),
washers (7), and heat shield assembly (4) from
bracket (8) and tailpipe lower guard (9). Discard
lockwashers.
(3) Remove six screws (10), lockwashers (11),
washers (12), and muffler shield (13) from
muffler (14). Discard lockwashers.
