NOTE
Perform steps 1 and 2 above to remove remaining hydraulic cylinder. Perform steps 3 and 4 below only if inspection
indicates replacement of shaft (27) or spacer tube (28) is required.

Shaft (27) and
Remove
If necessary, tap right end
spacer tube
of shaft (27) with brass

drift and hammer; then
support spacer tube (28)
while removing shaft (27)

Bearing (9)
Remove
Only if worn or damaged

Position
Rotate until end of retaining
ring (10) is visible in
slot in cylinder (8) barrel

Pry up
Pry retaining ring (10) part
