Open
Drain oil into container

b. Vent plug (3)
Loosen

Clamping
Two bolts (5),
Remove
Discard gasket (9)
ring (7)
clamping ring
halves (7),
cover (8) and
gasket (9)

a. Stud (15) and
Remove
Grasp hold down pin (10) and
oil filter
assembled
turn counterclockwise to
parts
loosen and remove stud (15)
and assembled parts
b. Oil filter (17)
Remove
From housing (20); discard
c. Housing (20)
Clean
Use cleaning solvent P-D-680;
dry using clean cloths
d. New oil filter
Install
(17)
e. Stud (15) and
Install
Press down and turn clockwise
assembled
until tight
parts
f. New gasket (9)
Install
Apply thin coat of clean
engine oil to gasket (9)
g. Cover (8)
Position
h. Two clamping
Install
Tighten bolts (5) securely
ring halves
(7) and bolts
(5)
i. Drain cock (1)
Close
Tighten securely

Engine oil
Drain plug
Install
Tighten securely
