WARNING
Make sure all pressure is drained from air system before disconnecting air lines. Parts
under pressure can, when removed, fly off with great force causing injury to personnel.
NOTE
Tag lines according to general maintenance instructions (page 4-1).
Drain (TM 9-2320-270-10).
Air system
1.
Using 3/4-inch and 7/8-inch wrenches,
Cou pling (2)
2. Nipple (1)
unscrew and take off.
Using 13/16-inch wrench, unscrew and pull
Air line 08 (4)
3. Adapter (3)
out.
Using 13/16-inch wrench, unscrew and pull
Air line 06 (6)
4. Adapter (5)
out.
Using long-nose pliers, pull out.
Two inserts (7)
5. Air lines (4) and
(6) or adapters
(3) and (5)
a. With help from assistant and using
Two screws (10),
6. Supply valve (8)
7/16-inch wrench, 7/16-inch socket,
washers (11), lock-
to firewall (9)
extension, and handle, unscrew and
washers (12), and
take out.

b. Get rid of Iockwashers (12).
Take out.

DISASSEMBLY
a. Secure valve (8) in vise.

b. Using 11/16-inch box wrench, unscrew

and take out.
a. Using 3/4-inch wrench, unscrew and

b. Take valve (8) out of vise.
CLEANING
Clean according to general maintenance
