73. PUSHER AXLE WILL NOT RAISE OR LOWER.
Start engine and build air pressure to operating level (TM 9-2320-270-10).
Step 1.
If pressure does not build to operating level, go to NO OR LOW AIR
PRESSURE (page 3-129).
NOTE
There are three air bags on the axle. Only one is shown.
Shut down engine (TM 9-2320-270-10). Check three air bags (1) for damage
Step 2.
or leaks by listening for hissing or using soap solution and watching for
bubbles (page 4-1).
if bags are damaged or leaking, notify direct support maintenance.
Check two lift chains (2) and brackets (3) for damage (page 4-1).
Step 3.
if chains or brackets are damaged, notify direct support maintenance.
