Check transmission shift linkage (1) for damage and proper

Step 1.

If linkage is damaged or out of adjustment, repair or adjust

(page 4-534).

Check propeller shaft and U-joints (2) for damage (page 4-574).

Step 2.

a. If propeller shaft and U-joints are damaged, replace (page 4-574).

b. If propeller shaft and U-joints are not damaged, notify direct support

maintenance.
