CORRECTIVE ACTION

Step 5.

Check auxiliary transmission to transfer case propeller shaft (6) and

U-joints for damage.

If shaft or U-joints are damaged, replace (page 4-584).

Step 6.

With engine running and transmission at normal operating temperature

(TM 9-2320-270-10), check transmission oil level on dipstick (7).

a. If oil is too low, shut down engine (TM 9-2320-270-10). and fill to

proper level (LO 9-2320-270-12).

b. If oil is too high, shut down engine (TM 9-2320-270-10) and drain to

proper level (LO 9-2320-270-12).
