CAUTION

Keep third clutch backing plate and six clutch plates together. Mixing third clutch plates with any

other clutch plates will damage the transmission.

Using 3/8-inch flat-tip screwdriver and

housing (1)

plate snapring (2)

12-inch pry bar, take out.

12-inch pry bar, take out.

CENTER SUPPPORT REMOVAL

Screw (7) and

a. Using 9/16-inch socket and ratchet

housing (1)

lockwasher (8)

handle with 112-inch drive, unscrew

and take out.

b. Get rid of lockwasher (8).
