Using ball-peen hammer and 3/8-
inch
drive-pin punch, tap out.

WARNING
Solvent burns easily. Solvent fumes can explode. Do not smoke or allow open flame nearby when using
solvent. Failure to observe these precautions could cause serious injury or death.

Crankshaft
a.
Clean with clean rags dampened with
pulley (3)
drycleaning solvent.
b.
Wipe dry with clean, dry rags.
INSPECTION/REPLACEMENT
NOTE

Replace damaged or defective parts as needed.

Look for cracks and breaks.

Look for deteriorated rubber.

Using ball-peen hammer, tap into
place.

Apply clean engine oil to inside
pulley (3)
diameter.

Using pulley installer, put on
and support.
