Frame (1)
Front engine mount
a.
Using jack and with help from assistant,
(2) and upper
raise engine just enough so that mount
locking plate (3)
(2) and plate (3) can be removed.
b.
Take out mount (2) and plate (3).
CLEANING
NOTE
For more information on how to clean parts, go to General Maintenance Instructions (page 2-46).
WARNING
Solvent burns easily. Solvent fumes can explode. Do not smoke or allow open flame nearby when
using solvent. Failure to observe these precautions could cause serious injury or death.
6.
All metal parts
a. Clean in cleaning solvent.
b.
Wipe dry with clean, dry rags.
INSPECTION/REPLACEMENT
NOTE
For more information on how to inspect parts, go to General Maintenance Instructions (page 2-46).
Replace damaged or defective parts as necessary.
7.
Front engine
Looks for breaks, cracks, and distortion.

Look for breaks, cracks, distortion, and
stripped threads.
INSTALLATION
9.
Frame (1)
Front engine
Put in position.

10.
Front engine mount
Two nuts (4), new
Screw in, and tighten using 15/16-in ch
(2) and frame (1)
open-end wrench, 15/16-inch socket, and
and screws (6)
ratchet handle with 3/4-inch drive.
