Screw (2) and lock-
a. Using 7/16-inch open-end wrench, un-
washer (3)
screw and take out.
b. Get rid of lockwasher (3).

Flywheel housing (4)
Hand hole cover (1)
Take off.

Crankshaft (5)
Crankshaft pulley
Using 2-inch socket and ratchet handle
nut (6)
with 3/4-inch drive, have an assistant
turn pulley and nut (6) which will rotate
flywheel (7) so that torque converter
nuts (8) can be seen through housing
cover hole.
58.
Flywheel (7)
Six nuts (8)
Using 9/16-inch deep well socket and
ratchet handle with 1/2-inch drive,
unscrew and take out.
Assistant should turn crankshaft
after each nut has been removed
until you can see the next nut
and until all six are taken out.
