(2) Connect electric cord to electric outlet, and connect the gas, air, and water outlets to proper service lines.

(3) Connect exhaust ducts to blower opening at top of hood and to a suitable opening in exterior wall of

laboratory.

(4) To start exhaust blower motor, push switch at left exterior base to ON position.

c. Preventive Maintenance. Preventive maintenance consists of lubricating the fan motor as required, cleaning

equipment and checking fittings and connections for tightness.
