a. Electric Lines. Normally, electric power for the petroleum base laboratory is provided by a line of 220-volt, 3-

phase, 60-Hz, alternating current. Inside the laboratory, wiring is arranged to provide single-phase, 2-wire, 110-volt

current for all equipment. When electric power source does not have the above characteristics, electric power is

provided by a 60-Hz, 120/208-240/416-volt, 30-Kilowatt, 3-phase, 4-wire, portable generator set.
