ORGANIZATIONAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

5-1. Inspection of Sensor Cable

Inspect the sensor cable periodically for cracked insulation, deformities or sharp bends. Report any physical damage of

the cable, to direct support maintenance.

5-2. Inspection and Replacement of Mounting Blocks

Periodically inspect the protected equipment mounting blocks for evidence of deformity or cracks. Replace blocks as

necessary.

NOTE

The blocks must be in good physical shape to provide proper equipment insulation from ground..

5-3. Repainting

Remove old paint with paint remover until a clean, dry, bare metal surface is obtained. Repaint with a rust inhibiting

primer. Finish with a light grey textured vinyl organasol paint matching color chips 26492 in Federal Standard 595.
