(4) The Post Engineer or Post Surgeon should be notified immediately of living or dead insects, rodents,

or other animals that are found during unpacking operations.

2-9. Unit Responsibility

Certify that all items of equipment are free of all types of ammunition and explosives.

Assure that all equipment is clean and free of all types of contaminants including mud, dirt, and

personal effects.

Assure logbook, preparation Instruction sheets, and other required forms, are placed inside a

MIL-B-117 plastic bag and secured to the container as specified herein.
